Uptown Errands founder Kadie Kersey has always known the importance of a balanced work and home life. However, many other people struggle to find this balance. There are never enough hours in the day to complete the never-ending, ever-growing “To Do” list. So, to solve this problem, Kadie created Uptown Errands, Charlotte errand services that allow people and businesses to outsource their “To Do” list so they may eliminate all of the things that never go away, but seem to so often get in the way.
Kadie developed the idea for Uptown Errands after years of wishing she had more time to “get things done”. After graduating from Elon University, Kadie started her professional career as an event/wedding planner for a four-star hotel in North Carolina. A couple years later, she enrolled at NC State University and earned her Masters Degree in Elementary Education. After five years of teaching first grade, Kadie realized that no matter what the career, there is never enough time to complete all the things that “need to be done.” Until now!
